Polish Furniture Factory will be located in pavilion 5 at the area of approximately 750 sq. m. The final product will be the design selected through an art competition “Dream piece of furniture 2016” organised by the publisher of meble.pl, who also publishes “BIZNES meble.pl” – shelf “DoReMi” and cart for keeping toys. Design of the shelf was prepared on the basis of a picture presenting a wall unit “Treble clef” (sent by Dorota Piłat) and executed by Elżbieta Redelbach. DoReMi is a modular shelving unit with a possibility to adjust the containers to individual needs of their user. Containers-notes are fixed in a way that allows for their moving and removal. The design serves not only as a piece of furniture, but can also be used while playing and learning musical notations.

Technological process of the designed furniture factory will include all stages of processing elements, starting from the moment of cutting dry sawn timber, to final assembly of furniture. In the factory will be presented the following unit processes: multi-saw unit processes, cutting of faults, joining wood to length, four-side wood processing, joining wood to width, formatting elements, sanding, boring, assembly. Additionally, participants of Polish Furniture Factory will present ways of managing waste created during a production process.
