The Economic Awards have been presented!

Today, President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski presented the statuettes for the best Polish enterprises during the final Gala Event of the 13th edition of the Economy Awards in the Earth Hall.

The Economy Awards are presented by the President of the Republic of Poland annually. They are special distinctions for companies, institutions and inventors substantially contributing to innovation and development of our economy, successful on the global market and building a positive image of Polish economy at home and abroad.

Innovativeness

SELVITA (Submitted by: The Foundation For Polish Science and the Polish Association of Listed Companies) - Central and Eastern Europe's largest biotechnology company engaged in the discovery and development of drugs used primarily in the treatment of cancer diseases.

Presence on the Global Market

GRUPA KAPITAŁOWA INGLOT (Submitted by: The National Labour Inspectorate) – the company was founded in 1983 in Przemyśl, it is now one of the biggest Polish cosmetic brands.

Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility

PROMOTECH (Submitted by: The Union of Polish Metropolises) - Polish manufacturer of a wide range of professional power tools and equipment for the industry.

Green Economy

ZAKŁAD UTYLIZACJI ODPADÓW W GORZOWIE WIELKOPOLSKIM (Submitted by: Marshal’s Office of the Lubuskie Province) - company involved in waste disposal for more than 20 years.

Lasting Success

SPÓŁDZIELNIA MLECZARSKA MLEKOVITA (Submitted by: The Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency) - company with 100-percent Polish capital, operating since 1928, the largest dairy group in Poland.
