National Furniture Congress

This year's edition of the FURNICA and SOFAB fairs will bring many new accents. One of them is the National Furniture Congress "Polish Furniture – Competitive Poland" organised by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers (OIGPM) in collaboration with MTP and the Promedia agency. The main topic of the meeting of manufacturers of furniture, to be held on September 15, will be the competitiveness of the Polish furniture industry in foreign markets.

This event will feature panel discussions with the participation of the most important personalities of the furniture industry in Poland. Participants of the congress will discuss topics such as the impact of technological innovation on competitiveness, opportunities and threats facing Polish exports of furniture, design and brand as the added value of supporting sales and trends in furniture trade. And representatives of the Ministry of Development will present the government's Plan for Responsible Development and its impact on the Polish furniture industry. The Furniture Makers' Ball, to be held in the cosy interiors of the Spire, will be an opportunity to establish contacts and exchange of views in a less formal atmosphere. he National Congress of the furniture is another feature of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the OIGPM.
